Affirmations and other Tools

Here are two posts I recently wrote on Facebook. They speak to tools like affirmations and scripting. There are different ideas on using tools. And before you discard them or the other opposite trust on them fully take a moment to read this and form your own opinion.
Affirmations
Some people call affirmations "whipcream on shit".
I have a different perspective and that's all that we are; perspectives.
Here's mine, take what resonates because also You are a perspective and different people learn in different ways.
When you're learning how to handstand you don't learn about understanding gravity, you learn by practicing and by inhabiting a new orientation (upside down) again and again and again.
Same with affirmations. It's not only about insight it's about inhabiting the new perspective.
How did you come to live in the old assumption? Through a story. A repeated story ad infinitum one that now has your nervous system fire that story on autopilot.
How do you change? Repeat the new story, the new words the new sentence until it becomes an autopilot story.
And yes you won't believe it at first. Like I thought I'd never be able to balance a handstand.
So just do it. Put in the friggin' work dude. It's Your Life and you owe it to your existence
Why State of Being "Tools" Work...
I have another good one for you, based on the premise that time is not linear but simultaneous.
We know how especially Neville but also Seth and dr. Maxwell Maltz (Psycho Cybernetics) spoke about repetition and practicing a new State of Being. And using certain tools like affirmations but also SATS, scripting, the "I remember when technique" and more.
Why do you think these things exist? And why do you think you are inspired to do them?
It's a future version, reaching back into the past (which is actually a simultaneous version nudging side ways .. are you dizzy yet ;-))
AND, the tool exists because the State is not yet fully inhabited. It is an unstable state, that is still forming into stability and it is formed into stability through the tool that you feel drawn to use to stabilize the State.
Once the State stabilizes the tool feels irrelevant, or gets forgotten, or it becomes part of "the past".
"Tools are reflections of transitional beliefs.
When the belief changes, the tool is no longer required."
And
Neville: "The past is not fixed, it is a present memory."
