Revision, the technique that changes the past
This is the 2nd article on my beautiful website about the teachings of one of my heroes Neville Goddard. This time I will dive deeper into one of his teachings called Revision. He said that at the end of every day we have to play the day as we would have loved to have experienced it, instead of accepting that what went "wrong" went wrong. Why this is so powerful? Read on....

To know the truth, you must live the truth, and to live the truth, your inner actions must match the actions of your fulfilled desire. Expectancy and desire must become one. Your outer world is only actualized inner movement. Through ignorance of the law of revision, those who take to warfare are perpetually defeated. Only concepts that idealize depict the truth.
Here Neville explains that in order for you to experience your wishes, your dreams, your desires you have to behave, think and be as if your dream has already become true. Some teachers say fake it till you make it, and that boils down to the same with the difference that "fake it till you make it" sounds too much like a play of make-believe that you brush aside way too easily at the moment things become to real for you and you fall into your old character that behaves in the way they always did.
While what Neville teaches is that you have to intensely be that new man until everything arranges itself around you to reflect this.
Your ideal of man is his truest self. It is because I firmly believe that whatever is most profoundly imaginative is, in reality, most directly practical that I ask you to live imaginatively and to think into, and to personally appropriate the transcendent saying: "Christ in you, the hope of glory." - Colossians 1:27
Don't blame; only resolve. It is not man and the earth at their loveliest, but you practicing th eart of revision make paradise. The evidence of this truth can lie only in your own experience of it. Try revising the day. It is to the pruning shears of revision that we owe our prime fruit.
Everything that is not "nice" so to say is actually not real. It is not what we truly are. Everything that is in our physical reality came first from our imagination and so use this faculty to create whatever, even peace on earth. Yes even peace. But before you can do something so big, you have to be able to control your imagination and I know for a fact that this is one of the hardest things to do and I'll prove it to you now;
Don't think of a Pink Elephant!
I rest my case ... ;-)
This game is all about being able to control where your thoughts are going and to catch them before the cause an emotion or even worse a State of Being. Which means a fixed way of thinking, feeling and doing things. It's not true, you chose to be this for some reason, which is not the point of this article.
So Revision, The Pruning Shears of Revision as Neville calls it is about cutting away the branches of experience in your day, you can even do it right after by the way, that you wanted to have been different. Just like you literally prune away branches from bushes and trees to model them in a way, you model your life experience by imagining something different in the place of what had happened.
And it only works when you feel a sense of relief of what you are changing in your experience. Or a sense of peace where there was panic. Or a sense of love where there was anger.
It is not what you experienced that was true, that what you make it belief is what's true. And I won't argue for why this is true, sense into your body if this is something that feels like truth to you.
And if it does, then I will see you in the next article where we will explore more of Neville's teachings.
To end this for now, don't burst a blood vessel, as Neville also said, to revise. Everything in life has more results when done with ease. So if there is too much emotion and anger and despair involved, first let the pressure out of the valve and come back to it when you feel centered and calm. Even if you have to do this 888 times. Are you worthy of an epic life experience or what? ;-)
As I often say to my coachees; The Question is: How Bad Do You Want It?
I trust you enjoyed this article and I intend for you to understand on a deeper level how powerful you are.
See you in the next.
A Fit Mind, Creates a Beautiful Body and an Epic Life
With Much Love,
