How Bad do you Really want it?

09-07-2025

I love this quote from Ryan Holiday's book Discipline is Destiny;

"The decisions we make today and always are being recorded, daily, silently and not so silently, in who we are, what we look like, how we feel."

Discipline is the Highest Form of Self Love

Words are powerful. They can be inspiring, or off-putting.
The word discipline has been used in ways that completely turned me off.
Until recently — when I understood what was actually meant with the word.

You might have an interesting relationship with the word discipline too. But I urge you to question it. Because when you do, it might just change everything. And that could be the most beautiful thing to ever happen to your energy, your body, and your life.

Discipline can feel like force, especially depending on who's making out the rules and who's listening. It's why it used to feel so harsh and uninviting to me. But here's the shift: true self-discipline is a form of self-respect. It's spiritual leadership. It's beauty through discipline.

We are multiple versions of ourselves ALL THE TIME.
And yes, that might sound a little schizophrenic — but here's the thing: that's another word that's been given a meaning to keep you from exploring what I'm talking about here.

We have a part of us that wants to be lazy and eat crappy foods all day.
A version that wants everyone to love them.
A version that is a mean (son of a) b****.
We all have these parts. And if you don't, I wonder if you're human.

But here's the thing: I am making space for all of my parts — I just don't let them call the shots.

The one who gets to call the shots is the version I know as my Higher Self.
She's the one who massages me into challenging things, because she knows how much more pleasurable, radiant, and alive life becomes when I'm leading from her — not my urges, not my fears, not the old programming.

This is the version of me who embodies mental fitness for women.
The kind of woman who chooses growth over comfort, because she knows discipline isn't about punishment — it's about energetic sovereignty.
And yes — it's also about beauty. Because discipline breeds beauty. And beauty, as I often say, is an energy game.

YouTube Short - How Bad Do You Really Want It?

To be able to do these hard things — like quitting my job, leaving relationships that were comfortable but uninspiring, selling my apartment without a plan but with a strong pull in that direction...
That takes something.
And it's not just courage.
It's energetic alignment and self-leadership in motion.

And now you're here, reading this.
Why?

Because something inside you is calling you forth too.
And you haven't said YES yet. Maybe because you're scared.
Because you don't trust.
Because you still believe, somewhere deep down, that life is hard and you're on your own.

But if that were completely true — you wouldn't be here.

So let me ask you just one question:
How bad do you REALLY want it?
Because the answer to that is what will propel you forward.

Discipline Breeds Beauty — and a Beautiful Life

And beauty is an energetic game. Doing things you need discipline for isn't about suffering.

It's about finding out how much more of you there is in you.

It's about making yourself proud of giving yourself the best life possible in this human form.

Just do the thing, commit to it and then celebrate. Because one day it will be your last day, and the last thing anyone wishes for themselves is to say;

I wish I would have had the guts to do .... (fill in your regret of choice.)

It's about building the kind of self-respect and stamina that overflows into every part of your life — and it will, especially in your Beauty.

In Closing -

When you do it.
When you show up for yourself — no matter what that looks like, no matter how messy or imperfect — and commit to something that stretches you, you will reap the fruits.

Will it be easy? Hell no.
Will it be worth it?

Oh my goodness YES.
But don't just take my word for it. Go find out for yourself.

This is it for now, go do the thing, and I will see you in the next.
