The Waiting Room

I'll be happy when, a State that is SO easy to slip in when we're not aware. And it was a favourite hang out of mine. Except that it wasn't. I was so accustomed being in this room that I didn't even notice I was a. entering it and b. I really did not like the furniture and the ambiance of that room.

When I did some digging, and started to do some more somatic work is when I realized that there is actually an easy way out of the I'll Be Happy When State.

Let me explain it to you before I give you the super easy way to ween yourself off of this never ending story. Because we all know how this story ends, it doesn't .... There is always something else to want for and pine for in the future where you will never arrive because life is happening right now.

Think of your life right now. Is there anything you want? Anyone you want? Any experience you'd like to have?

Are these holding you hostage to feeling happy now? Because you feel you are missing out somehow? Because everyone has it? Or you've been wanting it for so long? Or, Or, Or?

If that's the case you are waiting for permission to enjoy your life now. And there's a way out.

The Way Out

There is a somatic move to get yourself out of there and a mental one. The mental one is this: Everything is perfect, exactly how it is right now. And everything within you might want to protest and argue against it. Keep with this idea anyway. Until you feel yourself exhale.

The somatic move is: Locate your center. My center is literally the centerline of my body that is also known as the Sushumna Nadi in Yoga. I can also get there by putting index, middle and ring finger on my solar plexus.

Your anchor might be somewhere different or it might be the same. The idea is to locate it and stay there a little bit longer than feels comfortable. And that is the only thing you want to practice.

Because life is happening Here and Now. It is not in the Future and it is not in the Past. The Point of Power is Now. And from that point you choose; Which You and Which World.

The next step is being somatically here and now and feeling very satisfied where you are. This is Seth paraphrased, and this is how it works:

We create from our Now, there is only ever now.

So at this point we choose and also create our next now (= future) by how we feel and what we think about now, and this is what we expect to happen.

And what we experience right now, is what we expected to experience in a previous now through how we were feeling and what we were thinking before.

It is really doable, it takes practice, AND it is a wonderful practice.

Have fun with it and see you in the next.

Much Love.
